About Me

Hello! My name is Samuel Oliveira, and I'm an emerging Cloud Engineer passionate about creating efficient and scalable solutions using cloud technologies. Although I’m early in my career, I have actively immersed myself in the cloud ecosystem, particularly focusing on AWS services like EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and Route 53. I’m also proficient in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, which I use to automate and manage cloud resources.

My technical journey started with a foundation in Java, Spring, and Python, which has evolved into a broader skill set that includes front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I enjoy combining these tools with cloud infrastructure to build dynamic and secure applications.

One of my most significant personal projects is the Cloud Resume Challenge, where I put my skills to the test by deploying my resume as a fully functional, serverless web application on AWS. This project, along with other upcoming ones, reflects my determination to continuously learn and adapt to new challenges.

Beyond my technical abilities, I am a problem solver at heart, always eager to dive deep into complex issues and find effective solutions. I’m driven by a constant curiosity to expand my knowledge and improve my skills, both as a developer and a cloud engineer. I'm excited to see where this path leads, and I look forward to contributing to innovative solutions in the cloud space.

About This Site

This website was built from the ground up to serve as a portfolio for my cloud and web development projects. It is hosted on AWS using various services such as S3, CloudFront, and Route 53, with the infrastructure managed by Terraform. The goal of this site is to showcase my skills and provide a space for my projects, certifications, and resume.

The design emphasizes simplicity, functionality, and responsiveness, ensuring a smooth user experience across devices.

There is still much more to develop on this site, such as implementing the visitor counter, configuring the CDN and DNS, and integrating other services required for the challenge.
